We all know that wildfires affect our lives. But did you know they have a large impact on our ecosystem, too? After the devastating San Diego County wildfires in 2002 and 2003, the San Diego Natural History Museum studied the effect these fires had on our local bird population. Join Philip Unit, the Curator of the Department of Birds and Mammals, as we learn about these fascinating findings, and which bird species are at risk from the proliferation of wildfires.
