Location:
San Diego Humane Society (Oceanside Campus)

Nedra

Nedra, a Reiki Master and Nationally Certified Small Animal and Equine Acupressure Practitioner, will be discussing the basic principles of Acupressure and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and also showing participants some useful points for keeping their pets in balance as well as points for various issues their animals may be having.

Acupressure offers dogs and cats a natural method of balance and harmony to enhance their physical and mental well being. Acupressure is ideal for animals as it is gentle and noninvasive. Acupressure does not cause stress, discomfort or pain, and yet yields powerful results. Animals respond intuitively to Acupressure's ability to support emotional, behavioral issues as well as physical illnesses and injuries.

Acupressure is ideal for animals suffering from acute or chronic conditions or who are rehabilitating from surgery or injury.

Nedra has worked in animal rescue for the past 15 years. She became a Reiki Master in 2008 and started her journey towards becoming a small animal acupressure practitioner in April of 2010. She is Nationally Certified in Small Animal Acupressure, Equine Acupressure and Small Animal Massage through NBCAAM (National Board of Certification for Animal Acupressure and Massage). She believes Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a lifelong practice and is looking forward to the journey. Nedra works with all types of creaturesog: dogs, cats, horses, exotics, and humans.
