Thank you for your interest in adopting Princess! This special puppy received lifesaving heart surgery and will need ongoing care from her new family. A veterinarian will be available to answer any questions at the time of adoption. While future care and complications from this pre-existing condition can’t be anticipated, and will be the responsibility of the adopter, here are two follow up appointments the adopter will need to schedule over the next few months:

1. Princess will need to be spayed at San Diego Humane Society in mid-October.
2. Princess will need a follow up appointment with her cardiologist at VCA Animal Hospitals in three months.
