About Day of Giving

San Diego Humane Society's Day of Giving, first held in 2016, is dedicated to uniting support for the 30,000 animals in our community—and sometimes beyond—that rely on our care each year.

Your support during the Day of Giving will ensure we can provide high-quality veterinary care for vulnerable animals, protection from animal cruelty and neglect, rescue and care during natural disasters and emergency situations, critical care and rehabilitation for wildlife and so much more. This work is only possible with help from our entire community. Your gift today will help provide rescue, relief and refuge to thousands of animals who desperately need it. Please give now.

About San Diego Humane Society

Serving San Diego County since 1880, San Diego Humane Society's mission is to promote the humane treatment of animals, to prevent cruelty to animals and provide education to enhance the human-animal bond.

With campuses in San Diego, Escondido and Oceanside, we provide vital services to animals and people, including sheltering and adopting animals, offering training classes, investigating animal cruelty and neglect, aiding injured or orphaned wildlife and presenting education programs for youth and adults.

We are a private, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or SPCA.
