Help Create a More Humane San Diego™ for companion animals and wildlife in need by joining us at the Walk for Animals on Saturday, Feb. 22 at Kit Carson Park! The walk will take place rain or shine so come prepared for the weather! Whether it's providing an animal with a temporary home to heal, helping a family adopt a new pet or rescuing animals from emergency situations, your participation in the Walk for Animals helps make lifesaving work possible. You will also strengthen the important programs and services we provide to our community, such as pet therapy in hospitals, safety-net services for pet families in need, wildlife rehabilitation, educational programs and emergency rescue. In the coming year, San Diego Humane Society will care for 50,000 animals in need! By joining the Walk for Animals, you’ll help give each one the second chance they deserve.

Stay tuned or email seusebio@sdhumane.org to be added to the volunteer contact list.
